Pat Maggi

President & CEO

Pat serves as the team’s head coach at PDS, overseeing strategic business development and holding direct P&L responsibility for the business. He enjoys working closely with customers and PDS’s international partners. An avid inventor, Pat is also actively involved in supporting engineering and R&D efforts as needed.

With nearly 35 years of experience in the scientific instrumentation field, Pat previously spent 30 of those years with sister company Cannon Instrument Company, where he held roles as a Design Engineer, Director of Product Development, Vice President of Engineering, and most recently, President and CEO. He has a strong passion for the petrochemical and specialty chemical sectors and is well versed in ASTM-compliant equipment.

Pat holds a Master of Business Administration and a B.S. in Engineering, both from Penn State University. He has served as Vice Chairman of ASTM D02 Subcommittee 7 on Petroleum Flow Properties since 1998. Outside of work, he enjoys camping, mountain biking, and off-road riding with his family and their UTVs and ATVs.

Jason Paloskey

Technical Sales Manager

As Technical Sales Manager at Performance Distillation Solutions, Jason serves as a key link between clients and the engineering team. He works closely with customers to understand their process goals and translates those needs into practical, well-specified solutions. By combining technical insight with a service-focused approach, he helps ensure projects are scoped correctly, delivered smoothly, and supported long-term.

With over 24 years of experience in sales and customer support, Jason has held a variety of roles across the country within the pharmaceutical, petroleum, academic, and specialty chemical sectors. He is experienced in guiding clients through equipment selection and system design—from initial concept through installation and training. He collaborates closely with engineering, operations, and key vendor partners to keep communication clear and expectations aligned throughout each engagement.

Jason graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Media Studies. When he’s not in the office or traveling for business, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and watching college football on the weekends.

Christopher Torres

Operations Manager

As Operations Manager at PDS, Chris is responsible for managing the manpower and materials required for production and order fulfillment. He also oversees technical services, including installations and process development, ensuring products are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget.

Chris has 15 years of experience across a breadth of fields, including chemical processing, laboratory equipment, and civil services. His roles have spanned engineering, sales, laboratory services, and field support. His education in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University has equipped him with the tools to tackle complex challenges.

His major projects include the hands-on sale, production, and delivery of the company’s largest single order of Pro-Pak®, as well as leading the transition and in-house production of Pro-Pak within PDS.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys seasonal outdoor activities, exploring state and national parks with his family, and brewing wine in his basement.

Richard Megarry

Chemical Engineer

As a Chemical Engineer at PDS, Richard works with customers to ensure that Pro-Pak^® is compatible with their system designs. He also supports clients with equipment selection, installation, and training for PDS’s ILUDEST^® turnkey systems. Since joining PDS in early 2023, Richard has expanded his expertise across a range of thermal process equipment, helping customers advance their process development.

Richard was the valedictorian of Holyoke Community College before earning his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
